Google Tag Manager (GTM) Integration
SpyderBot supports integration with Google Tag Manager (GTM) for flexible deployment and tracking.
How it works
You can connect GTM to SpyderBot via API authorization.
Alternatively, you can deploy the SpyderBot script using your GTM container.
Two ways to use GTM
Option 1: API Connection (Recommended)
- Connect GTM through secure authorization
- Sync relevant tracking data with SpyderBot
=> Fast and requires minimal setup
Option 2: Script Deployment via GTM
- Add the SpyderBot script as a custom tag
- Deploy across your website
=> Useful if you manage scripts centrally
What you get
With GTM integration, you can:
- Simplify deployment of tracking scripts
- Manage updates without code changes
- Align SpyderBot with your existing tracking setup
When to use GTM
Use GTM if:
- You already manage tracking via GTM
- You want centralized control over scripts
- You prefer not to modify site code directly
Important note
- GTM integration is optional
- SpyderBot does not access your data without permission
