Improve Visibility in AI-Generated Responses

This playbook helps you improve not just whether your brand appears — but how it appears. Being mentioned is not enough. The goal is to become a top recommendation

When to use this playbook

Use this guide if:

  • Your brand is mentioned but not prominently
  • You appear below competitors
  • Your positioning is weak or unclear

Step 1: Analyze positioning in Brand Insights

Go to Brand Insights and check:

  • Where your brand appears in responses
  • Whether you are a primary or secondary mention
  • How competitors are positioned

Step 2: Identify positioning gaps

Ask:

  • Are competitors described as "best", "leading", or "popular"?
  • Is your brand described weakly or generically?

=> These signals indicate how AI perceives your brand.

Step 3: Strengthen your positioning

Your content should clearly communicate:

  • What makes your product different
  • Why users should choose you
  • Where you fit in the market

=> Focus on clarity, not volume.

Step 4: Improve comparative presence

AI systems frequently generate:

  • "Top tools" lists
  • "Alternatives" comparisons

To improve visibility:

  • Create comparison pages
  • Position your brand against competitors
  • Clarify strengths and trade-offs

Step 5: Align with user intent

AI responses are driven by intent.

Ensure your content matches:

  • Informational queries
  • Commercial queries
  • Comparison queries
